Kornilov Leatherworks crafts premium full grain leather accessories with uncompromising quality and attention to detail. Each piece is made to develop a beautiful patina over time.

Why we started

We got tired of wallets that fall apart in a year. Cheap stitching, thin split leather, painted-on edges that peel by the second month. So we learned to make them properly — the way saddlers made goods a century ago, before "genuine leather" became marketing-speak for the worst grade of hide.

How we work

• Full grain leather only — the top layer of the hide, not split, not bonded, not PU.
• Hand saddle-stitched — two needles, one waxed linen thread, per hole. If one loop breaks, the rest holds.
• Hand-burnished edges — no paint, no glue. Just water, wax, and friction.
• Solid brass or nickel hardware — no cheap zinc alloys that corrode.
• Small batches — a few pieces at a time. Every one gets attention.

Where we are

316, C-1 Indira Nagar, Kanpur — the leather capital of India, for good reason. The best hides in the country come out of Kanpur's tanneries. Our workshop is small, quiet, and full of the smell of oiled leather. Come by if you're in town.
